The innovative Networking & Recruiting initiative will be held on 31st January at Wind Tre’s offices in Rome

Wind Tre hosts the first “WomenHack” event in Rome, which promotes gender equality in the ICT&Tech field and helps women connect with companies that are committed to diversity in their workplace. This innovative Networking & Recruiting initiative will be held tomorrow, 31st January, at Wind Tre’s offices in Rome, where about a hundred female candidates will be able to meet more than ten ICT&Tech companies in one single occasion and find out their job opportunities. Through this event, organized by San Francisco-based “WomenHack”, the company led by Jeffrey Hedberg aims at promoting and supporting women’s entry into the Information Technology world.
According to Rossella Gangi, Human Resources Director at Wind Tre:

this is an important occasion for inter-company networking and for discovering real opportunities, which puts companies in touch with female professionals working in the IT sector. Wind Tre enthusiastically endorses this initiative, which, in line with the values of our company, creates dialogue and sharing opportunities aimed at developing merit and reducing gender gap in the technology fields

“WomenHack” evening event will last 3 hours, during which every candidate will have 5 minutes to meet each company, thanks to the innovative ‘Speed Interview’ format, allowing them to show their features and rapidly find out the different work opportunities offered by the tech companies participating in the initiative, in particular Software and App Developers, UI/UX, Graphic Designers, Data Scientists and Product Managers.
