WINDTRE launches the new single brand and the 'Top Quality' network, a latest generation infrastructure, ready for the 5G challenge.​

the launch of WINDTRE with our new single brand represents a defining inflection point for our company, the beginning of the beginning for our consumers and our business customers. On behalf of our team who has worked tirelessly in integrating and modernizing our network and systems across the key customer touch points over the past 3 years, it is with great pleasure and purpose that we announce the re-invention of WindTre. To deliver on this ambition, we have been investing 6 billion euros over 5 years in innovation systems and modern infrastructures, reflected best by our new ‘5G ready’ network. The original brands turn into a new one for the consumer market, WINDTRE, orange in colour, with rounded and ‘liquid’ shapes, consolidating the company’s value positioning. At the center, a welcoming technology, ‘much closer’ to the everyday life of the people. In line with these characteristics, the graphic design of WINDTRE Business, the brand dedicated to companies and professionals, is also renewed.
“The role of a telecoms company like ours must serve as a human relations facilitator”, affirms Gianluca Corti, Chief Commercial Officer. “For this reason, WINDTRE aims to bring people together through technology and to support them day by day in the challenges of the present. With the new single brand , explains Corti, we will offer new and effective commercial solutions, through a renewed network of stores throughout the national territory”.
The new WINDTRE is born with a ‘Top Quality’ network, tested by the international consultancy and engineering solutions company Umlaut. An infrastructure resulting from significant investments, successfully created by the Technology team led by the company's CTO, Benoit Hanssen. With around 20,000 ‘5G ready’ transmission sites, WINDTRE network​ made available and will allow to rapidly implement the fifth-generation network standard. Furthermore, it ensures a highly reliable voice service and it can support the most innovative ICT services, an advantage for families and businesses. The institutional website windtregroup.it, a channel designed to tell the identity of WINDTRE and its commitment to the digitalization of the country, has also been launched.
Starting today, on the corporate website, as well as on all the other main digital touchpoints of the company, a page dedicated to the single brand is online, it allows people to explore the genesis of the brand, its values, the strength of its network and the capillarity of its sales points. ​
