Our commitment: digital as a factor of development and inclusion

Inclusion is one of WINDTRE's core values. It is about opportunities for all and reducing inequalities. We at WINDTRE believe that digital technologies represent an extraordinary opportunity for inclusion for those who are most disadvantaged. In fact, accessibility to a fast, stable and reliable network even plays a decisive role in terms of well-being and equal opportunities.

Closer to your loved ones

The information society can be useful for breaking down many barriers.
In fact, hanks to the possibilities offered by digital technologies, people who had been excluded up until recently can now participate in the social and economic life of their communities.
The internet removes geographical barriers and those related to access to information and expertise.

In particular, we believe that the spread of digital technologies and accessible technology solutions should reduce the barriers to social integration faced by disadvantaged groups.
Just think of the possibilities that technology can offer to enhance the abilities of disabled people or to compensate for the 'inadequacies' associated with advancing age.

Overcoming the digital divide

WINDTRE invests in expanding infrastructure and continuously improving the network, to promote ultra broadband and the launch of the 5G network, the great enablers of digital transformation and Industry 4.0. Technology and digital networking are increasingly central tools in the daily lives of people and organisations.

6 billion euros of investments in ICT infrastructures in 5 years, for a reliable, quality network ready to welcome the latest generation technologies. Mobile outdoor network coverage close to 100% of the population and fixed network capacity of around 3.5 million lines in almost 2,000 sites.

A fast, reliable and Top Quality network, as confirmed by prestigious national and international awards.

Supporting the community

We get our customers and employees involved in community support initiatives where the company actively participates.

We make our infrastructures available to our customers throughout the year for numerous fundraising events for charitable causes, and we activate 'cause-related marketing' initiatives to collaborate on social support projects alongside non-profit organisations. As far as our employees are concerned, we encourage their active involvement in the solidarity initiatives promoted by the Company, both in terms of direct participation and in terms of shared choice.
