CORONAVIRUS, WINDTRE DONATES ONE MILLION EUROS TO THE CROCE ROSSA ITALIANA

Voluntary contributions are also provided by the company's employees

WINDTRE, the company led by Jeffrey Hedberg, is working alongside the Croce Rossa Italiana (Italian Red Cross) to deal with the Coronavirus emergency. The Italian company, a member of CK Hutchison Holdings, donated one million euros to enhance the reception and treatment capacity of the ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital in Bergamo, the Polyclinic of Milan and the Agostino Gemelli University Polyclinic of Rome, as well as the support activities to the people of the Croce Rossa Italiana, engaged in the front line in the Covid-19 emergency.

The funds collected from WINDTRE employees are also being allocated to the Croce Rossa Italiana; employees have responded to the company's invitation to contribute with an additional voluntary donation.

Finally, to alleviate the discomfort associated with the condition of many patients hospitalized in isolation, WINDTRE has arranged a distribution program for smartphones and tablets with internet connections to various hospitals.
