Digital changes everything, it creates new opportunities and challenges, and it’s an important catalyst of social, cultural, environmental and economic changes. Wind Tre believes in the participated management of innovation and sustains young generations

Digital Society

ICT services are a key tool to facilitate knowledge sharing and to foster the cultural and professional growth of people. This is why Wind Tre actively participates in an integrated eco-system which consists in universities, start-ups, incubators and company enhancers, digital companies which particularly support younger generations and the solutions provided by social innovators and digital entrepreneurship.

Digital innovation for the SDGs

The 17 Goals of the “UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, that our Country subscribed in 2015, represent a challenge to which everyone has a duty to respond, including governments, institutions, NGOs, businesses, and all of civil society. In this respect Digital innovation, that gave a dramatic acceleration to industry and services, represents an important opportunity to tackle social and environmental needs, also through public-private partnerships. Wind Tre brought together 40 stakeholders from universities, public institutions, major companies and third sector organizations, in order to design together the scenario for the support to the realization of the 2030 Agenda. The report identifies how we can leverage ICT for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, in 4 key topics: education, inclusion, responsibility, and the contribution of ICT to the environment and quality of life.
